During in the Prosperity of Zhenguan era (627–649), also known as Emperor Tai Zong's reign, the former clothier An is falsely accused and sent away. She gave custody of her little daughter Liu Li to an old acquaintance in the palace when she was in danger. Kudi Liu Li (Gülnezer Bextiyar), a little girl, was born during the reign of Emperor Taizong. Liu Li was also born with a natural knack for stitching, but her mother, who was dubbed "Number One Needle in the World," advised her against using a needle and thread because of the potential risks. Unfortunately, tragedy struck nonetheless when her mother was falsely accused by Zhuo Jin Niang (Li Xin Yi). She gives little Liu Li to an old acquaintance in the palace after being imprisoned and realising she would soon die. When Liu Li pursues retribution, she quickly finds herself caught up in a nasty feud between lords and witnesses sinister happenings within the royal palace as Wu Zhou gains control of it. Liu Li and Xing Jian will need to use all of their wits to get over the challenges in front of them as they once again teeter on the edge of life and death. Liu Li is a medical officer who was raised in the palace and is in charge of preventing epidemics. She also inherited her mother's exceptional ability to sew clothing. She encounters Pei Xing Jian, who was extraordinarily capable and aids her in escaping the danger, after stumbling into a trap set by others who were envious of her. Liu Li continues to look into her mother's situation, and the two collaborate while secretly falling in love.
