According to legend, mankind will experience tragedy as the endless darkness draws near. Ning Que takes all necessary precautions to keep Sang Sang safe when her identity is revealed.

The reign of General Lin Guang Yuan, which was subject to a planned and ruthless assault by another deadly general, had just one survivor: Ning Que. Sang Sang, his maid, helps Ning Que flee to Du City, where he enrols in the top martial arts school. Ning Que takes Sang Sang to the doctor after she develops a mystery ailment, only to learn that Sang Sang is the reincarnation of Yong Ye, a powerful and enigmatic entity who is said to bring about chaos. Ning Que has put out a valiant effort to help his family receive justice. He has developed into a guardian of Tang Country throughout his path to cultivation. Sang Sang's link to the never-ending night has, however, been revealed by cunning individuals, who now want to murder her. Ning Que helps her overcome several challenges since he can't bear to see his childhood buddy suffer. Warlord control over the Tang Country is currently a possibility. Ning Que is given instructions to command the army in defending the nation.

Ning Que is constantly by Sang Sang's side, helping her get over the growing number of challenges on her path. War is imminent, but he must also keep the pledges he made to the residents of Tang Country. Ning Que must become the commander of the Tang army or risk losing everything when warlords invade the territory of Tang.

In the moments following Ning Que's victory over Xia Hou, Sang Sang was found unconscious on the frozen lake. She ran upon Hao Tian in her dream, who invited her to go for a walk with her. Sang Sang resembled the luminous Hao Tian in terms of beauty. They have the same long haircut and were both wearing matching white gowns. Together, they appeared joyfully frolicking in the snow, which appeared to be cottony clouds, or perhaps they were in paradise. The monks from the Sect Tian Qian led by the Great Master Bao Shu were among those who were travelling since they had made the decision to carry the Yulan Bell with them in order to definitively establish that Ning Que was the evil lord. It seems that the Dark Lord can be located with a single rapid ring of the Yulan Bell.

The book is the children's version because, according to Master Qi Shan, he took that into mind. This was out of character for Ning Que, in my opinion. He read at the library for 27 (?) days straight after enrolling at the academy. He kept reading until he was dizzy, had nosebleeds, and needed to be taken home. The DManiac was about to stab Ning Que with her sword when Sang Sang flew into the sky and unleashed her black energy to knock the DManiac to the ground. The DManiac was severely injured, but she was not killed because she turned her energy on her own assisting soldiers after learning that they had completely disobeyed her orders.

Hao Tian is well knowledgeable. She resembles a herdsman. When cultivators have attained the five levels of all-knowing, no-distance, etc., she nourishes them further and waits until they have mastered everything before eating or feeding on them. Because his mother was from Bandlands, the Princess claimed that the Sixth Prince was not a true Tangese. He ultimately consented to forge the will since he was already considering doing so and hoped to have a successor who was entirely Tangese.

Haotian and Yong Ye engaged in a brawl. Haotian became so irate that Yong Ye disappeared. (I witnessed the making-of for this moment, and it was extremely gruesome. They were both shivering and so cold that they were unable to even crack a joke; they just wanted to get the filming over with and into some warmth. It was in a really cold, snowy region, and both young girls were dressed in these quite diaphanous white dresses.) The Temple Master finally stunned the Dao Maniac to the point where he tore a page from the most precious book and used it to give an order. She understood the Book Maniac's meaning. While the Shrine Master was acting in his own best interests, Mo Shan Shan claimed that she still adhered to Tao/Dao.
