Basic configuration of mikrotik router

I. Bridge(For LAN and Wireless Access Internet, DHCP Server by Bridge) Click Bridge  Add (+)  Name: bridge1  Apply  OK

1. Bridge LAN Click Bridge Ports  Add (+)  - Interface: ether2-master-local

- Bridge: bridge1 Apply  OK

2. Bridge Wireless Click Bridge  Ports  Add (+)  - Interface: wlan1 (Interface Wireless) - Bridge: bridge1 Apply  OK

II. LAN
1. Pool IP  Pool  Add (+)  Address: 192.168.1.100-192.168.1.200 Apply  OK 

DHCP Server
A. Network
IP  DHCP Server  Network  Add (+)  - Address: 192.168.1.0/24 - Gateway: 192.168.1.1 - Netmask: 24 - DNS Server: DNS of ISP (115.178.24.30, 8.8.8.8)  Apply  OK

B. DHCP Server

IP  DHCP Server DHCP Add (+)  - Name: server1 - Address Pool: pool1 (pool that create before) - Interface: bridge1 (For DHCP provide IP Address to LAN and Wireless) Apply  OK

3. IP Address

IP  Addresses Add (+) - Address: 192.168.1.1/24 (IP address that u want to set) - Network: 192.168.1.0 (Network ID) - Interface: Bridge1 (port that u want set IP Address) Apply  OK

III. Interface 1. PPPOE Connection Interfaces Add (+) PPPoE Client - Name: pppoe-out1 (Name PPPoE Connection that u want) - Interfaces: ether1 (port connect from modem to Router Mikrotik)  Dial Out  - Service: Digi (Name Service ISP Company provide Internet Optional) - User:digiclient@digi (Account PPPoE that ISP provide) - Password:123456 (Account PPPoE that ISP provide) - Dial On Demand Apply  OK

2. Static IP Address IP  Addresses  Add (+) - Address: 115.178.25.2/30 (Static IP address get from ISP) - Network: 115.178.25.0 (Network ID) - Interface: ether1 (port for connect to device’s ISP) Apply  OK

3.IP  Routes  Add (+)  Gateway: 115.178.25.1 (IP Gateway get from ISP) Apply  OK

IV. Nat IP  Firewall  Nat  Add (+) General - Chain: srcnat (Lan access to Internet outside) - Out. Interface: pppoe-out1 Action- Action: masquerade (for lan Access Internet) Apply  OK

V. Allow Remote MKT IP  Firewall  Filter Rules  Add (+) - Chain: input (For Outside to Inside, Internet to LAN) - Protocol: 6 (tcp) - Dst. Port: 8291 (Port for Winbox)  Action- Action: accept (Allow for outside to inside) Apply  OK

VI.Port Forwarding IP  Firewall Nat  Add (+) - Chain: dstnat - Dst. Address: 27.109.117.174 (ip publish ISP provide) - Protocol: 6 (tcp) - Dst. Port: 37777  Action - Action: dst-nat - To Addresses: 192.168.1.113 (IP Address of DVR Camera) - To Port: 37777 (Port in DVR Camera)  Apply  OK

 

VII. Allow Port 3, 4, 5 (Master Port 2) Interfaces  Double Click on Port 3 (ether3)  General - Master Port: ether2 Apply  OK

 

IIX. Wireless 1. Wireless Name(Wifi Name) Click Wireless  Interface  Double click wlan1 Wireless  - Band: 2GHz-B/G/N - Channel Width: 20MHz - Frequency: auto - SSID: Phnom Penh (Name of WiFi) Apply  OK

2. Password Wireless Click Wireless  Security Profiles  Double click default  - Mode: dynamic keys - Authentication Types:  WPA2 PSK - WPA2 Pre-Shared Key: P@ssw0rd Apply  OK 

IX. Users 1. Change Password admin System  Users  Double Click admin Password… Password u want to set  Apply  OK 

2. Create Users System  Users  Add (+)  - Name: user (Name user that u want to create) - Group: full (full, read, write, Permission for user) - Password: 123 (Password that u want to set) - Confirm Password: 123
